Description

A brass amulet engraved with the rune staves that guard against all magic from all four directions of the world. These symbols are drawn from the Galdrakver manuscript (Lbs 143 8vo) also known as the ‘Little Book of Magic’. A 17th century grimoire from the northern tradition originally penned in Reykjavik in 1670 on animal hide, which was unusual as paper was widely available by then.
